Jessica’s story:

Jessica raised Brodie from a puppy. He is a beautiful 2 year old, Husky/Border Collie mix. Jess contacted us after her original arrangements for Brodie had fallen through. At first, she thought her only choice was for us to find Brodie a new home. Instead, we asked Jess if she’d rather we keep him safe for her until she comes home to us. Of course she said YES!!!

Jessica & Brodie are not the only story here! MLD Rescue wants to help our enlisted men and women to KEEP their dogs safe while they are away protecting our country. We have several acres of land available to build kennels (or a rescue facility) and will provide a safe and loving environment for these dogs. We even have a certified dog trainer to provide “maintenance” training for the dogs.

But we need YOUR help!

“Operation Home Away From Home” Wish List:

1. a BUILDING – we would love to have an indoor facility for the dogs
2. Materials to build warm outdoor kennels for the dogs
3. LABOR – we need strong hands to build the kennels!!!
4. Large automatic Feeders and metal buckets for water
5. FOOD, food, and more food
6. Gift cards to PetSmart, Sams, Walmart or any pet related website
7. Money – we have an account dedicated strictly to the well being of these dogs
